We want to partner with you to ensure your child is in school, learning what they need to thrive as adults. Chronically Absent is 10% or more days per school year (excused or unexcused). At 5 or more unexcused absences a meeting with school staff will be scheduled. Students have 5 days to turn in parent and doctor notes. Each student may have 6 parent notes and 10 doctor notes per year. Students with 10 unexcused absences in a row or a total of 15 unexcused absences will lose their driving privileges.
